Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 designs leak via official case images
Only a few days remain before Samsung unveils the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, almost everything about Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones has already leaked. Their designs have appeared once again, this time through leaked images of their official cases.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 cases leak, showcasing designs of upcoming phones
There won’t be a significant difference in the designs of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 compared to their predecessors. Leaked images of Samsung’s official cases for these upcoming phones were published on a PostImage gallery by X user @MysteryLupin.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 still has a folder-shaped cover screen and two cameras with an LED flash on the outside. You can also see its default wallpaper in the image above. The phone is visible in its Silicon Case with Ring, making it easier to carry and use the device. In the images below, the phone can be seen in the same case but in Navy Blue and Mint colors.
The upcoming clamshell-style foldable phone still uses a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint reader. Overall, its design looks highly similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Reports suggest it will come equipped with a 4,000mAh battery, but it isn’t clear if that upgrade will make the phone thicker.
In the image above, you can see the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It appears to have a slightly squarer inner screen, thinner bezels, and sharper corners. These sharp corners remind us of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Leaks suggest that the phone has a titanium frame and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It reportedly has the same battery capacity as the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
In the images above, you can also see the Galaxy Z Fold 6 inside the official Clear Case, Standing Case With Strap, and Slim S Pen Case. The Clear Case showcases the device’s design more clearly. The phone has a slightly shorter and wider cover screen, a triple-camera setup on the rear with black concentric rings around the camera sensors, and an LED flash.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be unveiled on July 10, 2024, at the next Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. Both phones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 might also be sold in a 1TB storage variant.
Samsung is expected to use the same camera setup as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 might see an upgrade to its primary rear camera to a 50MP sensor, an upgrade from the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s 12MP primary camera. Both phones may be able to record 8K 30fps video using their primary cameras and 4K 60fps videos using all their cameras.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could have a 4,400mAh battery. Both phones are expected to feature a less visible crease on their inner screens.
